Ukrainian Ambassador to the Council of Europe Dmitry Kuleba gave up alcohol when he learned that Russia had been returned to PACE. He stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the diplomat, he “suffered too much” before the return of Russia, so after the PACE session took place, he did not drink whiskey, returned home and went to bed.

“I had already experienced it so much beforehand that when this decision was made at night, I didn’t feel anything. I knew in advance what to do if this happened in both the short and medium term. That's why I was calm. Honestly, I didn’t even want to drink a glass of whiskey when I came home at one in the morning. I just went to bed,” Kuleba said.
