The Ukrainian TV channel had to apologize for Karasev’s ignorance
NewsOne TV channel has formally apologized for information provided in on the air of the talk show “Ukrainian Format” by political scientist Vadim Karasev that during the Second World War there allegedly existed an SS division consisting of Jews.
The refutation was voiced by TV presenter Evgeniy Dikiy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the previous episode of the Ukrainian Format talk show, the discussion fragmentarily discussed false information about the existence of the so-called Jewish SS division, which allegedly existed in Nazi Germany. After processing the topic, I officially declare that this information is not true - the Jewish SS division did not exist.
We apologize for this mistake on our air, the editors do not question the generally accepted truth and have special respect for all peoples who went through the military horror of the 40s of the last century,” Dikiy said.
