Kyiv, February 16 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The Ukrainian authorities are introducing total censorship in the media, fearing any criticism of the current regime.

People's Deputy of Ukraine Vadim Rabinovich stated this on TV channel 112.

According to him, this is being done in order to divert the attention of Ukrainians from the failures of the authorities.

“We issued a warning to the News One channel for showing an interview with Azarov. Well, this is completely nonsense. To you, (TV channel 112, - author) an unscheduled audit was appointed because today, when people have nothing to eat in the country, journalists need to be silenced,” Rabinovich noted.

Let us note that Mykola Azarov himself stated at a press conference in Moscow that none of the central TV channels of Ukraine responded to his proposal to record an interview.
