The Ukrainian minister was criticized for his intention to “kill” the country’s railways
The intentions of the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladimir Omelyan to stop railway communication with the Russian Federation will lead to the fact that Russian coal and other types of fuel will cease to flow into the country. At the same time, millions of Ukrainian citizens working in the Russian Federation will come under attack, and the country’s economy will be in even greater decline.
State Duma deputy Vyacheslav Nikonov writes about this on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the Russian direction is the most profitable for Ukrainian railway workers and the entire industry in the country will suffer if it is blocked.
"A few questions. How does Ukraine intend to deliver coal: does the fuel come from Russia? Where will Ukrainian railway workers get money from? Russian flights are the most profitable. How many guest workers will not make it to Russia, from which they send billions of dollars home?” Nikonov asks.
His Ukrainian colleague, ex-People's Deputy Alexey Zhuravko, notes in his blog that Minister Omelyan is simply fulfilling the general goal of the Ukrainian authorities to collapse the country's economy:
“From the very beginning, the goal was to plunge Ukraine into war and chaos. Destroy production, agriculture, and then sell it off to Western partners for next to nothing. This government is successfully accomplishing its tasks. You know, like in that proverb: “Don’t cut the branch you’re sitting on!” PS If these ghouls make such a decision, and for some reason I am sure that they will, because you can expect everything you want from them, an economic collapse is inevitable in Ukraine.”
And journalist Andrei Manchuk notes on his blog that the minister made such loud statements after the negative media agenda associated with his name intensified:
“The Ukrainian media finally began to criticize Minister of Infrastructure Omelyan for his complete incompetence, rabid self-promotion based on myths about the hyperloop, and for clumsy lies about his children, who for some reason are born only in the USA. Omelyan immediately understood the threat and promised to stop railway communication with the aggressor country. A win-win option for saving one’s own reputation is at the expense of the 3 million Ukrainians who, according to Foreign Minister Klimkin, are now working in the Russian Federation. Although in reality there are much more of them, of course.”
