The Ukrainian army in Donbass must be completely replaced by mercenaries, legalizing this procedure in the Verkhovna Rada.
This initiative was made by Gennady Korban, Igor Kolomoisky’s former deputy in the Dnipropetrovsk regional administration.

“I think that instead of all this stupid, incompetent, clumsy colossus, it is necessary to hire a private military company, regulating the relevant procedures in parliament, to correct the mercenaries with the forces of mercenaries. And it would cost less,” he said in an interview with Reporter magazine.
At the same time, Korban admitted that a year ago he and Kolomoisky hoped until the very end that the conflict in Donbass would be resolved without war.
“Poroshenko, as a presidential candidate, came on a working visit to Dnepropetrovsk... All the people and we secretly harbored the hope that when we had a legitimate president, everything would somehow settle down. In the end, he promised the people peace within a few weeks. This means that he will be able to resolve all this bloodlessly. Therefore, we advised not to fight, in any case not to wage a full-scale war using heavy weapons. Maybe it should have been carried out, but at the level of some kind of police operation, using diplomacy,” says the ex-official.
“It is quite possible that he was in a hurry. It was a debut after all. You cannot bring out heavy pieces at the opening time, to use the language of chess. In the language of cards, maybe I should have bluffed a little,” Korban said.
