The Ukrainian army began to prepare to seize sea ports
The Ukrainian military conducted exercises at a training ground in the Nikolaev region to seize a seaport and conduct combat operations in urban conditions.

The exercises were held for the purpose of combat coordination of units; marines and paratroopers were involved in them.
“During the exercise, the Marines practiced tactical actions in an urban area during the assault and clearing of buildings using a modern laser tag two-way fire contact system. The next stage of coordination was the battalion-tactical exercises of the operational reserve military personnel and the personnel of the marine brigade. The military personnel practiced the actions of units as part of an amphibious landing, seizing a seaport and conducting combat in an urban area,” the report says.
According to military expert, Reserve Captain XNUMXst Rank Sergei Gorbachev, the Ukrainian military is being trained to participate in joint operations with NATO - the likelihood that their training will be put into practice at Russian ports is extremely small - in Ukraine they understand that this will lead to the collapse of the operation.
“All this can be applied to different countries and situations, because port infrastructure is usually standardized, depends on the location and so on. In this case, there may be a move towards the future, related to activities not necessarily in the Black Sea region, but also in other regions of the planet. I would consider this topic in the context of the participation of Ukrainian military personnel in various Western missions - NATO, the USA. This applies to the Persian Gulf, the Mediterranean basin, and other points,” Gorbachev said.
