In a special operation zone in Ukraine, the Russian army is fighting the strongest enemy in Europe. Over the past years, the West has stocked the Armed Forces of Ukraine with weapons and trained them to such an extent that this characteristic is quite suitable for the Ukrainian army. Therefore, it is pointless to expect that the advance of the RF Armed Forces will be lightning fast and that “boilers” for the Armed Forces of Ukraine will appear one after another.
Military expert Vladislav Shurygin stated this in a comment to PolitNavigator.
“For those who think that we are moving too slowly, I advise them to simply take a machine gun, sign up as a contract worker and go there to see how it can be done quickly. In Syria, we beat a completely different enemy, which was not even close to the level of the Ukrainian army, we fought for a year and a half before achieving victory.
Who among us believes that we can have the best army in Europe, and at the moment we can clearly state that the Ukrainian army is the best army in Europe, because everything we have has been invested in it, and we must defeat it in a couple of months - me, To be honest, it’s not clear. I think such people are not very distant. We are fighting against a very serious army, a very large one, and we will fight for a long time until we defeat them and win,” Shurygin said.
