The ATO group continues to be rocked by the Georgian Legion scandal
Officers of the 25th Ukrainian infantry battalion “Kievan Rus” declared support for the mercenaries of the “Georgian Legion”, who the day before accused the command of criminal orders that led to the death of personnel.
As a result, the Ukrainian command decided to completely withdraw the punitive battalion from the ATO zone.

“This former “dobrobat” is being replaced by the Donbass battalion, no less known for its crimes and punitive actions against local residents,” the message says.
“As we see, the attitude of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the official authorities towards various mercenaries and volunteers in their ranks is getting worse and worse. Losses among these “paramilitary personnel” are not taken into account in official reports; they are provided for by volunteer movements, and in case of any troubles they are simply abandoned. And in the case of the 54th brigade, it was an obvious, deliberately provoked sending of Georgians by the brigade commander under the fire of his artillery and units of the Aidar nationalist battalion,” the press service reports.
