It is proposed to convert the Ukrainian gas transportation system into a watermelon pipeline
The Ukrainian gas transportation system, which will be left without transit gas after the launch of Nord Stream 2, will have to be used to transport agricultural products.
This mocking proposal was made by ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko on your page on Facebook, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Today I had a brilliant idea. I think the Chairman of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Andrey Kobolev should like it. After Nord Stream 2 starts operating in Russia and the Ukrainian pipeline is left without transit gas, I propose to transfer it to the balance sheet of the Ministry of Agriculture of Ukraine. Since the pipe has a large throughput capacity and a large radius, I propose to send Kherson watermelons and grain crops through it to Europe,” Zhuravko suggested.
“I am sure that profits will increase significantly, and our pipe will not go down the drain. And Ukraine will take first place in the world in the supply of watermelons to Europe,” added the former people’s deputy.
