Ukrainian journalist Elena Boyko was deported from Russia
Elena Boyko, a journalist from Lvov known for her participation in Russian talk shows, who left Ukraine after Euromaidan, was expelled from the Russian Federation a few minutes ago for violating immigration laws.
This was reported by Russian political scientist Ruslan Ostashko, who was involved in Boyko’s defense.
“Elena left the territory of Russia,” he wrote on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Elena is sitting in the neutral zone. There is a stamp in the passport with a ban on entry into the Russian Federation. Now she has only one path open - to Ukraine, to Kharkov,” added Ostashko.
The night before, Boyko and the bailiffs took the train to Belgorod. Initially, she was promised deportation to the LDPR, since, according to the journalist, she was threatened with persecution by the SBU in Ukraine. However, in the morning it became obvious that Boyko would be deported to the Kharkov region. The lawyer who arrived was unable to prevent this at the checkpoint.
