Ukraine must regain its nuclear weapons at all costs, since only their presence can guarantee the preservation of an independent project in the face of the Russian threat.

Ukrainian philosopher and publicist Sergei Datsyuk stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “Ukrlife.TV,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Ukraine should get nuclear weapons in any case. There are dozens of ways, ranging from production on foreign territory by agreement to the production of our own equipment for an enrichment plant,” he said, explaining that production on foreign territory is necessary to avoid a blow from Russia.

According to Sergei Datsyuk, in order to obtain nuclear weapons, Ukrainians will have to make sacrifices.

“No amount of money is spared for the country’s nuclear safety. If necessary, we will tighten our belts for five years. We are talking about the survival of the country, the state. This is not something you can wait for,” the Ukrainian expert assures.
