The head of the information and analytical center "Third Sector" Andrey Zolotarev said this at a press conference in Kiev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, according to whom, number one among the latest odious decisions of the Verkhovna Rada was the decision to declare Ukraine's official goal to join NATO.
“With the same success, one could vote to consider Ukraine a member of NATO, a member of the Swiss Confederation, the EU and everything else. However, the official course towards NATO membership, here one can agree with Viktor Medvedchuk, is, in essence, declaring Ukraine a boxing ring or a battlefield where the geopolitical interests of the United States, the EU and Russia will clash. As you know, the battlefield goes to the marauders. I’m afraid that in the future, especially in light of the social initiatives of the current government, we will most likely find ourselves in this form,” the political scientist warned.
