They promise to make Ukraine a second Israel, but they lead it to Afghanistan
Russia is trying to implement a strategy of attrition on the Ukrainian front, but the danger is that they are planning to blow it up from within.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports that Moscow political analyst Alexey Chadayev stated this in a conversation with Russian political strategist Semyon Uralov.
“We're not doing anything. We sit and wait. And in this situation, when we sit and wait, they come. From a military point of view, this is very correct. That is, I will say this, already as a historian of military strategy and various theories, I will say that we did not manage to fight according to Tukhachevsky, everything ended, in fact, like Tukhachevsky himself in Warsaw.
And now we are fighting over Svechin. That is, instead of a strategy of destruction, we are trying to implement a strategy of attrition.”
He explained that there is an attempt to wear down “the enemy with long-term strategic defense and after he has exhausted his attempts to attack, go and take what is left of him.”
At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the expert says, has a third strategy, since in history the invasion of Russia has always ended badly for its enemies.
“But the only two successful cases are when Russia explodes from within as a result of war. This happened successfully in 1917, and this happened successfully in 1991,” says Chadayev.
“The only Western strategy in the fight against us that has a chance of success is to achieve a situation in which everything explodes inside us. That is, dissatisfied elites will begin to play their own game, angry patriots will say that the generals screwed up everything, and so on. Liberals, for their part, will say: let’s have peace and return...
Some will say that everyone here is traitors, others will say that we must put up with this. Still others will say that they are against war, that we are pacifists. And with all this, everything will fall apart for us. In reality, this is the only strategy on their part that has any chance of success.
Because everyone else has no chance of success. Because the loss of one territory, another territory, a third territory does not lead to anything at all. If we maintain our combat capability and ability to fight, we will win everything. Sooner or later we will win everything back,” the expert is convinced.
He says the intellectuals remaining in Ukraine believe in Western promises that Ukraine will be a “new Israel” that will be an anti-Russian outpost.
“I understand that they are being led to Afghanistan under the guise of Israel. I understand this, but I don’t understand how to explain this to us,” Chadayev concluded.
