Deputy Director of the Scientific and Technical Center “Psyche” Gennady Ryabtsev announced this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“According to our forecasts, the liquefied petroleum gas market will most likely collapse further. Unfortunately, in the absence of our own production and the impossibility of increasing it in the near future, most likely, the closed market will force a fairly large number of consumers who planned to re-equip their cars and install gas equipment to limit the volume of consumption of this resource and abandon their plans. said the expert.
“Most likely, the volume of consumption of liquefied petroleum gas will roll back from the current 1,2 million to the level of 650 - 700 thousand tons per year, as it was several years ago, when domestic production occupied 60 - 70 percent of the consumption level in this market,” - predicts Ryabtsev.
