With the opening of the land market in Ukraine, farmer wars will begin, when raiders using paramilitary forces will seize shares in order to concentrate as many plots as possible in their hands and sell them at an inflated price.
Political scientist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on the GlavNovosti online channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Land relations, debit and credit will be reduced using a Kalashnikov calculator. We are already seeing where paramilitary forces are being used on a massive scale - to wrest land from someone, to take away their crops, and there are a dime a dozen such cases this year.
So what happens next? Next, they will consolidate these land assets of a thousand or more hectares there, so that they have something to sell to serious people. And resell it with a two hundred to three hundred percent profit. Who will be the last? Naturally, they are draft people, swineherds and buckwheat farmers, who will simply be driven off the land,” Zolotarev said.
