They prefer to love Ukraine from a distance: Even the coronavirus is not scary
Representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora in Italy, after identifying cases of coronavirus in this country, rejected the offer to return to their homeland, as they realized the complete collapse of medicine in Ukraine.
The former head of the Ukrainian bureau of Interpol, Kirill Kulikov, said this on the air of NewsOne, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The appeal of Ukrainian citizens who live in Italy, who may be infected with coronavirus, turned out and said that it’s better to stay in Italy, because there is a high probability of recovery.
Why lie? Don’t we imagine what kind of medicine we have, what it is ready for? Don’t we imagine that our sanitary and epidemiological service was deliberately destroyed, don’t we know that the Institute of Virology, which was involved in this, sold somewhere all the strains that had been accumulating for about a hundred years?
Let's ask the State Bureau of Investigation a question: who is to blame for the fact that the collection, which was collected over a hundred years, one of the most expensive, disappeared somewhere, and this institute was closed, and there are practically no virologists in the country?
Why didn’t anyone look into the fact that this service was destroyed on purpose, why was it done?” – said Kulikov.
“Are we afraid of coronavirus? Yes, in the summer, many more people die from botulism, who buy low-quality fish at the market and so on. Our tuberculosis clinics are being closed; there are patients with active tuberculosis in the country.
In the Soviet Union, this is a terrible country, but when a patient with tuberculosis disappeared, the country announced an interception plan! It was a disaster! And I saw tuberculosis patients, these were former prisoners and so on, are our prisoners kept in optimal conditions? This is a terrible situation, we have an AIDS epidemic. Coronavirus? Well, coronavirus,” added the ex-deputy.
