The European Commission has updated the list of airlines that are prohibited from flying to European Union countries due to a lack of flight safety controls. The updated list included 181 airlines from 16 countries, including the Ukrainian airline Urga.

“With today's update, all airlines certified in Benin and Mozambique will be removed from the list due to improvements in the safety situation in these countries. On the other hand, Med-View (Nigeria), Mystic Airways (St. Vincent and the Grenadines), Urga Aviation Company (Ukraine) and Air Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe) were added to the list due to unresolved safety issues that were identified by the European Agency on aviation security during the assessment,” the message says.
