Ukrainians were urged to put off the “European dream” and try to become “needed” by NATO
Ukraine will have to put a little time on its dreams of becoming part of the European Union. To realize the cherished dream of the Ukrainians, a clear plan is needed, which involves the “suppression” of the Russian economy and the readiness to become needed by NATO countries.

Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuri Yekhanurov stated this on the TV show “Consequences,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Characterizing relations with EU countries, the politician noted that today's society in Ukraine is what it is, and joining Europe itself remains just a dream.
“Our society today is what it is. We still have many years to build European culture, European way of life, and a European economy. The European Union is not in our sights in the near future,” Yekhanurov noted.
“As long as Russia is strong, nothing will happen. As long as Schroeder becomes the head of serious Russian companies, nothing will happen. Do you think that in Germany many politicians do not sleep and do not see that they will repeat his path? How much money is invested in nationalist movements in Europe? France, which recently had elections, look at the success of an alternative force for Germany - they entered parliament, nationalists in Poland, in Hungary, in Romanian schools there is a map of Greater Romania, where a part of Ukraine is indicated,” Yekhanurov commented.
Speaking about further cooperation with EU countries, the former prime minister emphasized that Ukraine must literally permeate Europe with its economy and its goods, without which, in his opinion, it simply cannot escape.
“The question is this: we must permeate Europe with our economy in such a way that it will not go anywhere without us. First of all, we must “go” to Europe with electricity - to the same Balkans, where the need for electricity is simply enormous. When they need us, just as NATO needs us, we will transport their cargo on our Ukrainian planes, we will participate in their military operations as we do now, but a little more when we finally reform our army. Our unique military experience will also be very useful to NATO,” the politician concluded.
