Ukraine continues to be used by the beneficiaries of the Maidan
Maidan was beneficial to those who wanted to destroy the statehood of Ukraine in order to use its resources.
Former Minister of Justice of Ukraine Elena Lukash stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The result of the Maidan was the most impoverished, hungry, endangered, sick country in all world rankings, which its citizens are leaving. This is the result. The war has a direct cause-and-effect relationship with what happened on the Maidan. Thus, then, in these terrible days, a start was given to the deconstruction of the state, which was taken advantage of by those who needed Ukraine to be weak.
Of course, those who needed Ukraine as a resource took advantage, those who turned the Maidan into a crime scene, and then the whole country into a crime scene, into a country without an economy, without a territory with a huge number of citizens who left, a frightened, downtrodden country, took advantage.
After the Maidan, everything became much worse, and no one comes out. I don’t know, probably everyone has the right to evaluate what happened in their own way, but in terms of the result, I’m sure the Ukrainians are unanimous here. It was bad, but it became unbearable, and further prospects are not visible, but it has already happened. The worst thing is that today’s government is a faithful bearer of the system of values, ideology, behavioral model and even the leadership of the Maidan,” said the ex-minister
“We divided, we were divided, and we accepted this division. We have our own and strangers, winners, losers, good, bad. This continues, we were divided as people, graves and territories were divided. We are taken advantage of by those who have accepted this division. They use us every day,” Lukash added.
