Ukraine will be torn apart by people deprived of identity
The persecution of Orthodoxy in Ukraine occurs as part of a policy to sever any ties with Russia. Political scientist Andranik Migranyan told PolitNavigator about this.

“The leadership of Ukraine has decided to finally part with Russia. And it is impossible to do this and not part with spiritual Russia. They believe that there are two main dangers to Ukrainian statehood: the Russian language and the Orthodox Church. That is, they want to take away from a significant part of their citizens everything that is dear to them – identity,” Migranyan said.
However, the political scientist believes, depriving millions of citizens of their identity will have the opposite effect - it will destroy the statehood of Ukraine.
“Today both Europe and America are losing their identity, but as long as they are rich, they have relative peace. But in the poor country of Ukraine, people who have lost their roots will tear this state apart. The state cannot exist without the people, who have their own state identity. If compromise solutions are not found, ethnic, religious and civilizational gaps are not overcome, then the future of Ukrainian statehood is very doubtful,” Migranyan said.
