Ukraine will be saved by the “one country, two systems” scenario – Kiev expert
The Minsk agreements stipulate the creation of an autonomous region in Ukraine following the example of Macau and Hong Kong.
Kiev political scientist Valentin Yakushik stated this on air on the KRT TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Look at what is written in the Minsk agreements - this is the creation of an autonomous region in Ukraine, which can be conditionally called Eastern Donbass. And it’s autonomous not even on the basis of federalism, but of confederalism, where it has its own armed detachments, its own prosecutor’s office, judicial bodies, only it needs to be coordinated with the Center, but in reality everything is decided locally.
This is really the creation of such a geographical and political community, similar in its status to Macau and Hong Kong in China, according to the agreements that were reached between China, Britain and Portugal,” the expert said.
“But in Ukraine, our government - neither the previous nor the current one - is not sufficiently subjective and it does not take us, citizens, seriously, and does not conduct a discourse of truth. She is engaged in fiction, creating illusions, she will not say about it.
The previous and current authorities really do not want there to be an active war, they would like to end this conflict, but the current government is afraid of the radicals, those 25 percent who voted for Poroshenko.
But here is the most important thing: since this power is not very subjective, there are real geopolitical and political subjects for Ukraine. First of all, these are globalists; they are present in the deep state of the United States, in financial structures. What they want?
They want any conflict to exist - smoldering, active, between Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine closes part of NATO's flank.
They don’t want to accept Ukraine for anything, but let it spend its vital, temporary resources on containing Russia,” Yakushik is outraged.
