This was reported by the press center of the State Emergency Service, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Rescuers noted that yesterday, due to thunderstorm rains and strong gusts of wind, power line protection systems were activated.

As a result, 101 settlements were cut off in eight regions, namely: Donetsk region - 30 settlements, Kiev region - 30, Poltava region - 20, Vinnitsa region - 14, Kharkov region - 14, Zaporozhye region - 13, Cherkasy region - 8, Dnepropetrovsk region - 2.

The day before, on Monday night, the disaster caused even more damage to Ukrainian cities - 478 settlements were cut off from power.
