The fate of Ukraine is being decided by Russia and the United States without its participation. Political scientist Andrei Zolotarev said this on air on the NewsOne TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to him, the United States is forcing Ukraine to implement the Minsk agreements, which is why there has been an aggravation among the power elites.
“Here is the role of Ukraine - well, we are not at the table yet. God willing, don’t end up on the table. Well, we are under the table, if you can say so about the negotiations. You noticed that after Volcker’s visit there was an aggravation of the internal political situation. Perhaps some experts believed that in this way the Americans were forcing our war party to behave exemplarily. However, one way or another, everything must come to decisions that are quite resonant and difficult for society. They are called differently: “Steinmeier Plan”, “Herault Formula”, “Medvedchuk Plan”, but no matter what we call them, we do not see a political resource in order to implement the political part of the “Minsk Agreements” in the Rada today.” , - said Zolotarev.
