Ukraine is flooded with illegal weapons
Ukraine, under the ATO conditions, was literally inundated with illegal weapons. Sergei Shabovta, president of the Ukrainian Association of Security Professionals, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“According to our estimates, there are from 1,5 to 2 million small arms in Ukraine alone. Trauma weapons - they tell us about 100 thousand, but we confidently say that there will be 300 thousand guns. Do Ukrainians have any idea how many award-winning weapons there are? According to our estimates, 50 thousand trunks,” the expert said.
According to him, those in power have a lot of award weapons.
“Does all this brethren in power, people’s deputies, need it? Arseniy Yatsenyuk even has an officially registered Maxim machine gun,” the expert said.
At the same time, people in power often use weapons in the belief that they can get away with it.
“The clearest confirmation is the case of Pashinsky, who cynically used an award weapon, seriously wounded a person, and in the end the case was simply closed for lack of evidence of a crime,” recalled Sergei Shabovta.
