The opening of the land market will turn Ukraine into a desert after the work of transnational agricultural corporations. Political scientist Taras Zavgorodniy stated this on the talk show “Black Mirror”.

According to him, the possibility of selling land will result in the fact that racketeering teams will travel through the villages, which will be engaged in “squeezing” black soil from the villagers.
“How do agricultural holdings differ from farmers? A farmer involves his entire family in production, they create employment in the village, so the villages live. Large corporations don’t need villages - they stopped by, drove through with tractors once and that’s it - they don’t need anything. In Argentina, the situation was approximately the same, they also opened a land market and huge spaces, just desert, because corporations don’t need it... How will all this end? There is crime and lawlessness in the country. They will simply drive teams with injuries, pistols, machine guns, and notaries at once,” Zavgorodniy said.
