Ukraine will face universal quitrent and universal military service - ex-minister Kucherenko
The population of Ukraine will face universal conscription and increased taxes on the army.
Ex-Minister of Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Aleksey Kucherenko stated this on the Internet channel “Yes it is,” as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Kucherenko, the population of Ukraine will be forced to finance their Armed Forces and serve in the army, following the example of how they do it in Israel.
“We are doomed to one very serious, well, not a duty, but we will have a sacred duty for many years. We understand that, having such a neighbor at our side, we are doomed for many years, and military service should become number one for all citizens of Ukraine. It will be like in Israel - here you don’t have to look far for an example. And the taxes that you and I will pay for the maintenance of a modern, powerful defense-capable army - no one will pay for us, you understand,” Kucherenko predicts.
