"Ukroboronprom" boasted a new hybrid of a tank and infantry fighting vehicle

This was announced by First Deputy General Director of the state concern Sergei Pinkas during a working visit to the Kharkov Armored Plant State Enterprise.
The new vehicle will combine the reliability of a tank and the capacity of an infantry fighting vehicle, the developers say.
The designers, taking into account the wishes of the military, will install modern dynamic protection of the “Contact” type on the hybrid, which increases the “survivability” of the equipment. In addition, the armor will be able to withstand hits from armor-piercing bullets, grenade launcher shots, and even explosions from anti-tank mines.
“The capacity of the new infantry fighting vehicle is almost one and a half dozen military personnel. The hybrid will help to safely remove the wounded from the combat zone and deliver reinforcements to hot spots,” said Sergei Pinkas. According to him, serial production of this equipment will begin this year in case of an appropriate order from the Ministry of Defense and the National Guard of Ukraine.
As PolitNavigator reported, Yuzhmash previously stopped work until March 2. Experts note that military orders are distributed very unevenly among enterprises.
