Ukroboronprom spoke about the consequences of an explosion at a chemical plant in Donetsk
Kyiv, September 22 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – As a result of the explosion at the Donetsk State Chemical Products Plant, no one was injured, but the property of the enterprise suffered heavy damage.

As PolitNavigator reported, on September 20 at 10:35 am, a shell hit the warehouses of the Donetsk State Chemical Products Plant, which is part of the Ukroboronprom State Concern.
According to the director of the enterprise, Nikita Samokish, these were warehouses with explosives for further disposal. “The detonation of ammunition occurred as a result of a shell hitting the plant’s warehouses. The power of the explosion in TNT equivalent is almost 3000 tons,” the press service of Ukroboronprom quotes Samokish.
He noted that there were no casualties or injuries precisely due to the storage of ammunition in accordance with all standards and technical documentation, as well as the absence of personnel on the territory of the plant. After this incident, significant damage was recorded at the enterprise.
