The Ukrainian-made “Molot” mortar once again disabled one Air Force officer.
The official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He noted the fact that not only volunteers from different countries and local residents come to the defense of the Republic, but also Ukroboronprom, which continues to supply the Ukrainian military with defective weapons.
“Yesterday, Ukrainian security forces, while attempting to shell the settlement of Spartak on the outskirts of Donetsk, experienced another explosion of a Ukrainian Hammer mortar. As a result of a mine explosion in the bore of the Molot, a soldier of the 2nd mortar battery of the 42nd battalion of the 57th mechanized brigade, M. Yu. Kovalenko, was seriously injured,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
