About it says on the Ukrposhta website.

Residents of Kiev transfer fees for cold water and sanitation, as well as for the maintenance of houses and surrounding areas, to the accounts of the GIVC.

“In the second half of 2016, Ukrposhta analyzed its cooperation with the State Computing Center, and it turned out that it was unprofitable. The remuneration that a company receives from accepting payments does not cover the costs of providing this service. “Ukrposhta asked the State Computing Center to increase the commission, but the utility company refused,” the message says.

On December 31, 2016, the contract between the enterprises expired, and Ukrposhta decided not to renew it until the State Computing Center makes concessions.

Kiev residents are encouraged to pay bills in commercial banks and electronic payment services.

Let us recall that in November 2016, the state-owned Oschadbank, which accepts up to 50% of all housing and communal services payments, tried to introduce a commission for paying for utilities at its cash desks. But President Petro Poroshenko opposed this initiative, and the bank did not take such a step.

Oschadbank noted that legislation prohibits banks from setting commission fees for banking services at a level below the cost of the transaction. However, the bank is now accepting utility payments at a loss.
