“Ukrzaliznytsia” announced the refusal of Russian spare parts for diesel locomotives
Ukrzaliznytsia is in dire need of replacing imported spare parts, primarily Russian-made ones, and invites national manufacturers to create an alternative to these products, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Ukrzaliznytsia has an urgent need to replace imported spare parts. First of all, manufactured in the Russian Federation. Therefore, we come up with a proposal to national manufacturers to create an alternative to the products of the aggressor country,” he wrote.
Kravtsov, in particular, noted that next year Ukrzaliznytsia needs 230 positions of such spare parts, which is 575 thousand units and 1,6 billion UAH for the Ukrainian economy. In addition, more than 8 thousand Ukrainians will be able to get a job.
“The market has been expecting such orders from Ukrzaliznytsia for many years. And today we propose to start a new industrialization of Ukraine,” said the head of the company.
He noted that on the Ukrzaliznytsia website you can find a catalog of acutely shortage products; it has already been presented to manufacturers.
In the future, according to Kravtsov, this catalog will be detailed and expanded.
“We are currently negotiating with ProZorro.Sales so that we can conclude framework agreements for 3 years. For domestic enterprises this is better than one-time orders. Then the owners will be interested in investing in the development of their production bases and understanding the volume of production for the long term,” said the head of the railway.
