Ukrzaliznytsia fired the head and conductor of the train for refusing to transport Ukrainian military personnel
Kyiv, January 06 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Ukrzaliznytsia fired the head and conductor of train No. 318 Odessa - Zaporozhye for the latter’s refusal to allow boarding on a train in Nikolaev of Ukrainian soldiers who were heading to the ATO zone.

According to the department, on January 6, on this occasion, a meeting was held at Ukrzaliznytsia with the participation of the heads of the department, passenger services of the Dnieper and Odessa railways, involved officials of the Odessa, Nikolaev stations and the Zaporozhye passenger carriage depot.
During the meeting, it was established that railway officials showed insufficient professionalism and committed a number of violations of the procedure for serving passengers. In this regard, Ukrzaliznytsia fired the head and conductor of the above-mentioned train and reprimanded the duty officer at the Nikolaev station. The heads of passenger services and railway enterprises of the country involved in this incident were also brought to disciplinary liability.
“In order to avoid such misunderstandings in the future, railway workers recommend promptly contacting specialized railway ticket offices, military commandants or station duty officers regarding the purchase of tickets,” the press service noted.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, Ukrzaliznytsia, together with the Odessa and Prydneprovskaya railways, began an internal investigation an incident that occurred on December 30 at the railway station in Nikolaev, when the conductor of the Odessa-Zaporozhye train did not allow military personnel on their way onto the train to board the train.
