The street where the Russian Embassy stands in Kyiv will be renamed in honor of Bandera
Kyiv, June 27 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Deputy of the Kiev City Council Igor Lutsenko, head of the commission on culture and tourism, announced the initiative to rename Vozdukhoflotsky Avenue, where the Russian Embassy is located, in honor of the leader of Ukrainian nationalists Stepan Bandera.
Lutsenko has already prepared a corresponding draft decision of the City Council and made it public.

“As the chairman of the relevant commission of the Kyiv City Council and as a deputy, I officially initiate the renaming of Vozdukhoflotsky Avenue, on which the Russian Embassy is located, into Stepan Bandera Street. Someone in our country must still demonstrate the will to fight the aggressor. Someone has to impose sanctions, someone has to say no. This is a war, a war of bullets, but a war for identities. We must fight by all means,” Lutsenko wrote on Facebook.
“The one who says “what will this solve” or “are there really no other problems” - let him tell you how HE solves these and other problems, in particular the aggression of the Russian Federation. (I’ll add to myself - before I now became the chairman of the commission, I was a volunteer in the Azov battalion, and now I help with military supplies),” the deputy clarified.
Let us recall that a few days ago the Russian Embassy in Kyiv was attacked by nationalist-minded youth, who threw paint bags and Molotov cocktails at the building, and also overturned the diplomats' cars parked in the parking lot.
The police opened a case under the milder article of hooliganism, rather than mass riots.
