“Goodbye, Lev... You were a good man. Real!" – he wrote.
"Crimean News Agency" citing a source, reports that Mirimsky’s death was preceded by two strokes, and this morning the 58-year-old ex-deputy’s heart stopped.
Let us recall that Mirimsky, after the Russian Spring, refused to resign as a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, explaining this by the fact that he plays the role of a representative of Crimea in the Ukrainian parliament. Then there were rumors that Mirimsky helped Ukrainian politicians conclude deals to sell property on the peninsula to new Russian owners.
Mirimsky's family lives in Kyiv, but retains some assets in Crimea. The son of a politician studies in the UK.
Mirimsky's last Facebook post was dated April 3. The politician published photos from his birthday, signing them “I’m 17 again.”
