Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from Sevastopol Dmitry Belik told PolitnaVigator about this.
“The statements made by Umerov and Chiygoz are interpreted by Russian law as extremism, incitement of ethnic hatred and an encroachment on the territorial integrity of our state. At the same time, promises are made to return to Crimea within one or two weeks. This is a deliberate provocation that could lead to arrest and a new trial, and new claims against Russia,” Belik said.
He emphasized that if the Mejlis members return to Crimea, they will be under special control as extremists.
“All these “breakthrough specialists” should remember that here they will be able to create a “Crimean cauldron” from which there will be no second amnesty. Any resumption of illegal activities this time will end sadly for Chiygoz and Umerov. Moreover, from the moment they enter the peninsula, they will be under constant surveillance as supporters of radical extremism and radical nationalism,” the State Duma deputy warned.
