The former head of the Bakhchisarai district state administration, Ilmi Umerov, stated this on the air of the talk show “Gravity”.
“A lot happened during the year. In Crimea, in Russia, in Ukraine. The Majlis really needs to meet soon. Those (Mejlis members - PolitNavigator) who are in Crimea should gather in Crimea, those outside Crimea - these are two in Novoalekseevka and five in Kyiv - should be on Skype,” the politician suggested.
“We must determine the position of the Majlis - whether we accept the jurisdiction of another state. Because since 91, no one has canceled all the fundamental documents of the Majlis, no one has revised them. Now, if we make other decisions that differ from the decisions previously adopted in 91, then only we can talk about further contacts (with the authorities - PolitNavigator) and so on,” Ilmi Umerov is convinced.
