Simferopol, March 31 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars, ex-head of the Bakhchisaray Regional State Administration Ilmi Umerov was again summoned for questioning on Tuesday.

The politician announced this on his Facebook page.

“In the morning I’m going to the district prosecutor, at 12 I’m invited to the Investigative Committee of Crimea to continue the interrogation on February 26, 2014. And by 15 I’m going to be on time for an open day in the Asia-Pacific region...” Umerov wrote.

On March 23, Ilmi Umerov was summoned for questioning by the regional Investigative Committee as a witness in the case of Deputy Chairman Akhtem Chiygoz, who was arrested on suspicion of participation in mass riots on February 26, 2014, as a result of which Simferopol residents Igor Postny and Valentina Koreneva died under the walls of the Crimean parliament.
