“I know how to shoot, I have Maidan experience”: Sentsov is preparing for war with Russia
Convicted in Crimea for preparing terrorist attacks and extradited to Ukraine as part of an exchange, Oleg Sentsov believes that he is ready to fight.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, the terrorist stated this in an interview with the Kyiv magazine Novoye Vremya, answering a question about his plans “in case of invasion.”
“I will go where there is movement. I definitely won’t go to guard any bridge in the Lviv region. I’ll evacuate my family right away, but I’ll stay here and go where it’s hotter. I have many acquaintances among the military, and among volunteers who are still fighting, and among former volunteers, and former military men who will immediately begin to organize into some kind of partisan or volunteer detachments, that is, all this is there. Opportunities for where I can get a job are not a problem,” Sentsov said.
According to him, he has the necessary skills for war.
“I can shoot, I have sports training. I just play sports, sometimes I go to the shooting range to shoot. I have no combat experience, but I have life experience, and if this starts, I will be with the people who will be with me. I have Maidan experience, I know that in combat conditions you learn very quickly,” the publication’s interlocutor noted.
He agreed that you can not only learn, but also die.
"Yes. It's very simple. Therefore, being on the front line for several weeks, months is a lot of experience that you will never get in training. Therefore, God grant that this does not happen, and if it happens, there are many such people, half the country will do the same as me. And therefore this invasion is doomed,” Sentsov assures.
As PolitNavigator reported, Sentsov previously demanded to split Russia into small parts.
