It has become more profitable to die for Ukraine - the Rada has increased payments to the families of fallen soldiers
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the law “On amendments to certain laws of Ukraine on increasing the level of social protection of military personnel and members of their families” (registration number 2406).

249 out of 340 people’s deputies registered in the session hall voted for this decision, as follows from the information on the parliament’s website.
The law increased the one-time cash benefit in the event of death, disability or partial loss of ability to work without establishing disability for those who were directly involved in the so-called “ATO” in Donbass.
In particular, according to the law, a one-time benefit is assigned and paid in the amount of 750 times the subsistence minimum established for able-bodied persons on January 1 of the calendar year, in the event of the death of a serviceman, a member liable for military service or a reservist.
The law also stipulates that a one-time cash benefit is assigned and paid depending on the disability established for a military person, a person liable for military service or a reservist and the degree of his loss of ability to work in an amount that cannot be less than 70 times the subsistence minimum established for able-bodied persons on January 1 of the calendar year.
