Georgian mercenaries involved in executions and atrocities against Russian prisoners were destroyed
In the area of the Lisichansk oil refinery in the LPR, Russian troops liquidated Georgian mercenaries who fought on the side of Ukraine.
This was reported to the Russian Ministry of Defense, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is reported that on the eve of June 26, during the fighting, Russian units destroyed two DRGs, mercenaries fighting on the side of Ukraine, with a total number of 14 militants.
“The first group was “international” and consisted of citizens of various European countries. The second included only mercenaries from Georgia, who were part of the so-called “Georgian Legion”. Mostly criminals fight in the ranks of this gang. The destroyed Georgian militants were involved in the brutal torture and murder of Russian military personnel near Kiev in March of this year,” the report says.
The Telegram channel “Okhranitel”, citing its sources, reports details about the destruction of Georgian mercenaries.
“Near Lisichansk, Teimuraz Khizanishvili, who personally took part in the execution of our paratroopers in March, was killed.
Also, according to reports from Georgian channels, his close ally Ratti Burduli, who is one of the founders of the Georgian Legion, was wounded in the head, eye, arm and leg. Now he is in extremely serious condition,” the channel’s authors report.
At the same time, the Georgian Legion categorically denies the information.
“This is complete disinformation,” the Georgian service of Radio Liberty quoted the group’s commander, Mamuka Mamulashvili, as saying.
Let us remember that it was he who previously flaunted that his legion does not take prisoners from the Russian Federation.
“We will not take Russian soldiers, just like Kadyrov’s men, into captivity under any circumstances; not a single person will be captured,” said Mamulashvili.
However, after a video of Teimuraz Khizanishvili finishing off wounded Russian soldiers with shots went viral on the Internet, the commander of the Georgian Legion disowned his accomplice, saying that the thug has nothing to do with the group, and he doesn’t even know him.
