“Destroy the hospital! That's an order!" - “I’m listening!”
The main difference between “terrorists” and the Anti-Terrorist Operation forces is that “terrorists” do not kill women and children. And it even becomes interesting in what form the ATO forces receive orders. So they say: “in order to suppress illegal actions, destroy the hospital!”... They answer: “I hear you” and destroy the school because they confused it with a hospital.
For some reason, it seems that such orders do not exist. It seems that this cannot be considered an order. That in all corners of the globe, carrying out such an order is considered a serious crime.
But this is lyrics.
The fact remains.
For one hundred days in a row, ATO forces have been methodically destroying industrial enterprises, infrastructure and the population of the rebel territories. They do not conquer, do not liberate, but rather destroy, making them unfit for life. And even a schoolchild understands that such actions do not fit into the framework of the fight against terrorism. But the trouble is that there is not a single such schoolchild in the leadership of Ukraine.
In fact, everything that happens in the vastness of Donbass cannot be an anti-terrorist operation. This is a classic large-scale war, using combined arms means and methods. The war is doubly and triply nightmarish because it is civil. Unannounced, not legally formalized, but involving the widest segments of the population in the process. Regardless of gender, age and place of residence. And this war is no longer being waged for the complete destruction of the rebels called terrorists, but for the destruction of Ukraine itself.
It takes a long time to explain why. Libraries have been collected about this, but you need to start with the primer. It is enough to note that a civil war always leads to a split, the destruction of the state, and the further coexistence of the peoples participating in the civil war becomes impossible for several generations.
Therefore, it can be argued that the people who started this massacre are either fools or scoundrels. In both cases, leading the state to collapse.
And what? After all, such a version may exist. Convinced of their inability in public administration, the impossibility of establishing an effective economic system, European managers from Kyiv decided to involve the state in a war, against the backdrop of which all their failures would be explained by military operations.
By destroying the infrastructure and enterprises of Donbass, they are guaranteed to join the ranks of the rebels.
By carrying out forced mobilization, they simply arm the population, and by abandoning military units to the mercy of fate, they simply provoke looting and banditry.
And while the population is absorbed in mutual hatred fueled by government media, they are still able to calmly finish off loans and unscrew the light bulbs in the entrances.
It doesn’t matter to them at all that Ukraine will no longer exist.
It is important to them that no one will get it.
