This was announced by the leader of the public movement “Youth of Moldova” (Tinerii Moldovei) Iulian Gramacchi.
“Before the parliamentary elections, we can call on candidates to sign a declaration and commit themselves to taking a fast course towards the reunification of Moldova and Romania,” Gramacchi said, as quoted by alfanews.md.
In addition, according to him, in September the unionists plan to hold another march in Chisinau in support of unification with Romania.
The publication notes that this organization conducted an information campaign “We speak Romanian, we are Romanians” during the recent population census in Moldova. By sending letters and distributing leaflets, the unionists tried to convince the citizens of the Republic of Moldova to identify themselves as Romanians during the census and indicate that they speak Romanian.
Since July 1, unionists have been conducting another campaign - talking about the benefits of rapprochement between Moldova and Romania in Moldovan villages.
