“Falled in all positions”: What Ukraine has achieved in 3 years after the start of Euromaidan
“They fell in all positions” – this is the economic result of Ukraine three years after the start of Euromaidan, which, as is known, took place under the slogan of the need to conclude an association agreement with the EU.
Oleg Ustenko, executive director of the International Blazer Foundation in Ukraine, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.

“Yes, we can be happy that we now sell 40% of our exports to the EU. In 2012-2013 it was 25%. We have become more dependent on the European market, and politicians are delighted with this increased dependence. At the same time, our dependence on the Russian and CIS markets has sharply dropped. If in 2012-2013 Russia accounted for about 30%, now it is no more than 10%.
This would be fine if the economy played the way these numbers show. But, unfortunately, in reality in January-August we had a decline in exports by a total of 9%. At the end of the year, this will most likely be 7-8%.
We must understand that an increase in the EU share does not mean that you and I are getting more money. We have fallen in all positions – in Russia, the CIS, and the EU,” says the expert.
