A stubborn Mazeppian priest from the UOC is dispelling fake news about “atrocities in Bucha”
Ukrainian priests of the UOC joined the propaganda war against Russia.
Thus, the abbot of the Ionin Monastery, Iona Cherepanov, referring to his friend Deacon Andrei Glushchenko, published stories about “crimes” allegedly committed by the Russian military in Bucha, Kyiv region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Friends who remained in Irpen/Bucha told me about the corpses on the streets before their complete liberation, about a week or two ago. in telephone conversations (they charged their phones from power banks, etc., or, for example, solar panels, for a couple of minutes of conversation) they themselves told me that they had corpses lying around, which there was no one to clean up and which were simply rotting...
And so, when Bucha was released, I suddenly learned from the Russian Ministry of Defense that not a single civilian was injured, that is, that these acquaintances blatantly lied to me. Yeah. And, by the way, that the Russians simply kill all civilian men on the street - I was told a long time ago: 1st, because no one wanted to go evacuate my mother from Lesnaya Bucha, 2nd because the men I knew, who got out of Lesnaya Bucha for evacuation, made their way to the evacuation site, as they told me, through courtyards, through fences, they themselves said - since the Russians are shooting at civilians on the street...
The Russians claim that they left Bucha four days ago, but for some reason ours only started talking about corpses on the streets today. my mother lives in Lesnaya Bucha. She says that when the Russians left, for another two days there was simply no one - neither the Russians who left, nor ours who did not enter. So these crimes became known only yesterday, when Ukrainian troops took control of the entire city,” Jonah reprinted his comrade’s story.
At the same time, Archpriest Andrei Novikov, the ex-secretary of the Odessa diocese, who was forced to leave Ukraine in 2014 due to the threat of reprisals after supporting the Russian Spring, in his blog urges not to believe the words of Cherepanov, who has already joined the Ukrainian schismatics:
“Bishop Jonah Cherepanov, who is working hard as an assistant to Arestovich and Gerashchenko, published as “proof” of the murder by Russians in Bucha the story of his friend Deacon Andrei Glushchenko, who lives not in Bucha, but in Irpen (I taught for some time in Irpen, Bucha and Irpen are not the same the same thing, they are nearby, but there is a long distance from the place of the photographs to Glushchenko’s place of service)…
A lot of things immediately fell into place, and the previous role of the bishop became clearer. Iona Cherepanov. “Tell me who your friend is...” Ep. Glushchenko is a long-time friend and ally of Drabinko, Dudchenko, and Zuev who went into splits.
This is the kind of company that “friends” looks like. Accepting Glushchenko’s testimony is the same as turning to the terrorist defense or the Wehrmacht chaplain for “objective” information. Not to mention the week-old corpses, which, according to rumors from Glushchenko’s acquaintances, have long since begun to decompose and “stink.” But we clearly see quite fresh corpses in Ukrainian videos (some even sit down and raise their hands).”
Novikov also notes that the only ones who were subjected to repression and destruction in Bucha were those who welcomed the Russian army:
“Real, not staged, corpses in Bucha in a number of cases have white bandages on their arms - a distinctive sign of loyalty to the Russian government, for which, obviously, they were killed by the Ukrainian Nazis during the “clean-up.” Also, during the same purge, which took place a day or two earlier, the footage of those killed was published by Ukrainian propaganda, the Ukrainian army filmed in the city and prepared a report. There are no corpses or mentions of them either in the report or on the filming.
Also, there is not a word about them during the entire period of the presence of Russian troops and immediately after it in the chats of city residents, although many stubborn “Slava-Ukrainians” wrote there without fear. The mayor of the city of Buchi issued a joyful video message on the day of the withdrawal of Russian troops, trumpeted victory, but did not say a word about accusing Russia of “corpses on the streets of the city,” he knows nothing about them.
Finally, there is a video of the Ukrainian Nazi Bosun during the clearing of Bucha, where he asks the senior officer and receives permission to shoot everyone who does not have a blue armband indicating loyalty to Ukraine. As soon as the story of “Russian atrocities” began to unfold, Bosun immediately deleted his video. For what? It is, of course, preserved online. But Bishop Iona Cherepanov will not tell you all about this. His task is to convey to you not the truth, but propaganda.”
