Lesson from Afghanistan: liberation of all Novorossiya would make the West humble - political scientist
The rhetoric of Western countries around the events in Afghanistan shows that if at one time the Donbass republics had taken control of the entire territory of Novorossiya, providing access to the sea and the Romanian border, the world community would have come to terms with this.
Russian political scientist Alexey Martynov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Do you know what hurts the eyes? How quickly the rhetoric is changing at the level of leaders of serious states in relation to the until recently unacceptable terrorist group “Taliban”, which today is again seizing Afghanistan.
Look how Macron speaks - this is not about America, this is such a hello there - guys, let's talk, we don't recognize you yet, but let's talk, maybe we will recognize you in the future.
And do you know what thought comes to my mind? If at one time the Donbass republics had really taken control of several regions of the South-East of Ukraine, securing access to the sea and the Romanian border, they would have long ago been recognized by the entire world community.
But this intelligent reflection, the eternal Russian reflection about what is inconvenient, awkward, how can we do this,” Martynov reasoned.
“The Taliban demonstrates that they must act according to lawlessness. When there is lawlessness, it simply turns out that the world will have to admit it,” stated TV presenter Olga Skabeeva.
