This was stated by ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko in a conversation with residents of the village of Karapishi, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In six months we received $550 million in investments. In 2005, we received $1 billion every month. Last year, we received $1 billion in investments.
I remember under [Prime Minister of Ukraine from 1997 to July 1999] Pustovoitenko, we had $700 million in investments. This is somewhere around 98-99. This is still the “dashing” nineties. Now we receive approximately the same amount as we received under Valery Pavlovich,” Yushchenko said.
