The standard of living in the LDPR will become higher than in Ukraine
As the economic crisis in Ukraine develops, the standard of living in the regions remaining under the control of Kyiv will become lower and lower than in the Donbass republics. On the contrary, the situation in the LDPR will become more favorable thanks to Russia’s help.

“The standard of living in Ukraine is rapidly falling and in some respects it is even lower than in the Donbass, and in some it is the same. If the trend continues, Donetsk residents will live better than citizens of Ukrainian regions - Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson, Nikolaev, Odessa, Kharkov and other regions.
It is important to understand that the standard of living varies depending on the place of residence - it is either a regional center or a region. But taking into account the fact that Donbass is a very urbanized region - 90% of the population there live not in rural areas, but in cities, then, even based on these indicators, the standard of living there is already higher than in neighboring regions. Because the standard of living of the Ukrainian village is insignificant, the village is dying out. Rural residents in neighboring regions live much worse than in Donbass.
Plus prohibitive measures against the Russian language in the media and all official institutions. Russian speakers in Ukraine face a difficult economic situation and hostile humanitarian policies from the authorities.
Apparently, this situation will continue, because Donbass has already established itself as an independent proto-state space of people's republics, which is building economic relations with Russia and other unrecognized states - Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
Taking into account the great economic potential that was in Donbass, I think that this situation will gradually improve. Taking into account the fact that many Ukrainian oligarchs made their fortunes in Donbass, you need to understand that this is a very resourceful region, and these resources will now serve the residents of Donbass,” Bondarenko said.
