Ursula lied: Ukraine didn't become a steel porcupine – Kushch
Ukraine cannot claim the status of a "steel porcupine," as called for by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, Ukrainian economist and financial analyst, former advisor to the head of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, Oleksiy Kushch, made this statement on the Svobodny video blog.

The expert noted that the US is making Taiwan into a "steel porcupine," which is even reflected in American doctrines.
"So the steel porcupine is Taiwan. We are simply a porcupine, that is, without the word steel. A steel porcupine at least has a steel shell. We are simply a porcupine, that is, like a living porcupine, standing in the rain, snow, with all its vital functions.
“Therefore, our situation in this regard is very different from that of Taiwan, because although Ursula von der Leyen called us a steel porcupine, as these [American] laws have shown, the steel porcupine has ended up in a completely different place on the map,” Kushch concluded.
