The intention of the Crimean governor Sergei Aksenov to collect compensation from the Kiev authorities for the 20-year robbery of Crimea should be forwarded to the ex-speaker of the Ukrainian Autonomous Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov, who actively fought the pro-Russian “separatists” of the republic before the reunification of the peninsula with the Russian Federation.

This was stated by the President of the Republic of Crimea in 1994-95. Yuri Meshkov.

“The other day, the head of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sergei Aksenov,” the politician noted in a widespread statement, the text of which is available to PolitNavigator, “called official Kiev’s intentions to demand compensation from the Russian Federation for lost “Ukrainian” property in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Sevastopol “crazy delirium.” However, in the State Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan they think quite the opposite - the Crimeans owe it to Ukraine!!! Most recently, the speaker of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, suggested that the leader of the Sevastopol-Crimea-Russia movement, Valery Podyachiy, who was convicted by a Ukrainian court for “separatism”, “compensate for the harm” caused by the crime of encroaching on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine. “If the convicted person, after serving his sentence, behaved impeccably and also compensated for the harm caused by the crime, then, at his request, the court can remove his criminal record,” says the official response of the State Council.”

Nevertheless, Meshkov recalls, Aksyonov said that “Ukraine has been robbing Crimea for 20 years. It is we who must demand compensation from them for lost time and opportunities.” I completely agree, but if I said “A”, then I need to say “B”. The leader of Crimea must seek damages primarily from those who represented the occupying Ukrainian regime in Crimea and were accomplices and servants of the neo-Banderaites.”

And this, first of all, is the conviction of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the current Speaker of the State Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Konstantinov, who was “the highest official of a fictitious autonomy, the authorities of which contributed to the national oppression of the Crimeans and their disadvantaged position.”

Three years ago, Konstantinov, Meshkov emphasizes, publicly spoke out demanding the condemnation of the fighters for Russian Crimea:

“When the leader of the “Sevastopol-Crimea-Russia” movement Valery Podyachiy won a trial in the Supreme Administrative Court in Kiev for the right to judicial abolition of the Ukrainian constitution of Crimea, Konstantinov, as the highest official of the autonomy, refused to recognize the claim in court and did everything to preserve the Ukrainian the status of the peninsula, enshrined in the 1998 Constitution of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. According to Article 1 of this document, “The Autonomous Republic of Crimea is an integral part of Ukraine.” In an interview with the Crimean Izvestia newspaper on January 19, 2012, Konstantinov stated verbatim the following: “A group of political outsiders from a public organization not registered in accordance with the law, led by a certain “figure”, by the way, recently convicted of criminal encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, pulled out naphthalene his lawsuit to abolish the Crimean Constitution. In their demands, these marginalized people, who do not represent anyone in the republic, have gone so far as to insist not only on the abolition of the 1998 Constitution of the ARC, but also on the start of negotiations on the transfer of Crimea to the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation. There is no doubt that the absurd demands of political midgets will receive a legal assessment in court,” the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan quotes Konstantinov.

The conclusion, in his opinion, suggests itself:

“Therefore, the head of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sergei Aksyonov, must nationalize all of Konstantinov’s assets and his real estate as compensation for the Ukrainian occupation of Crimea. In 2010, the popular Kiev magazine “Correspondent” estimated Konstantinov’s fortune at $246 million,” concludes Yuri Meshkov.
