“I am accelerating the victory of Ukraine”: the President of Estonia showed how he weaves camouflage nets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Estonian President Alar Karis, together with volunteers, wove 9 thousand meters of square camouflage netting for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The head of Estonia wrote about this on his Twitter, noting that in this way he “accelerates the victory of Ukraine over Russia.”
“With my team I made a camouflage net for Ukrainian defenders. Volunteers throughout Estonia have created more than 9 thousand square meters to help Ukraine. We can all do something to help Ukraine win the war,” wrote Alar Karis.
Earlier, Estonia announced that it would make a formal proposal to the European Commission to introduce an eighth package of sanctions against Russia. In particular, according to the Estonian proposal, the package of restrictions should include expanded sanctions against Russia in the economic, energy and trade sectors, and Estonia also wants to add restrictions for additional individuals and organizations.
